The construction process of marble veneer mainly includes the following steps:
Base treatment: clean the surface of the structure to ensure that the wall surface is flat and free of floating ash and oil stains. For smooth concrete surfaces, chiseling is required to increase the adhesion of the mortar to the base layer during grouting.
Lofting and material selection: According to the design drawings and wall dimensions, the marble slabs are lofted and numbered. When lofting, try to number the plate on the flat ground according to the design size, matching flowers, color and texture, and then stack the semicolon vertically for later use.
Hanging line: According to the requirements of the design drawings, use the theodolite to pop up the vertical line on the wall to ensure the verticality during installation.
Clean and leveling the construction surface, clean and dry will ensure the best effect of pasting.
The surface of the wall and the back of the stone are evenly and fully brushed with glue and then tight pasted.
After pasting the stone, press the stone with a flat tool immediately. Make the glue paste without bubbles and no gaps.
After construction is completed, Clean ultra thin stone surface. When it is dry, apply stone special protective agent to do protection.
Installation of the upper slate: After temporarily fixing the upper slate, adjust the horizontality and verticality to ensure that the slate is flat. Use expansion bolts to secure the upper slate to complete the installation.
Caulking: Fill the slate with foam strips and glue the edges with tape to ensure that the gaps are smooth and flat.
Finished product protection: During the construction process, wipe the traces of cement mortar on the slate with a dry cloth at any time and cover the protective layer to prevent pollution.
Through the above steps, the construction quality of marble veneer can be ensured and the expected decorative effect can be achieved.
