Made of marble stone veneer with a thickness of only 1mm or 5mm and a weight as low as around 15kg per square metre, one-third of the weight of conventional marble, marble veneer wall panels are this ultra-thin design greatly lowers the building's burden in addition to making the wall panels not only simple to handle and install. Further improving their structural strength and stability are commonly combinations of these wall panels with lightweight backing sheets as aluminium honeycomb, polypropylene or high-density polyurethane foam.
