Translucent Stone Slabs

Translucent Stone Slab is a decorative composite material with good light transmittance. The transmittance can reach 10%~35%. It can be used in combination with LED light sources and is widely used in high-end decorative scenes such as background walls, light boxes, and bar counters.

1. Excellent light transmittance
The translucent stone slab uses selected raw materials and composite pressing technology, and the light transmittance is between 10% and 35%. The specific value varies depending on the thickness of the stone slab, the composition of the substrate and the color. This light transmittance can be used in combination with the LED light source system to present a uniform and soft light effect, effectively enhancing the sense of spatial hierarchy and visual expression. It is currently widely used in background walls, reception desks, lighting finishes and display space decoration, especially suitable for hotel lobbies, commercial display areas and high-end home decoration environments.

2. Excellent mechanical properties
The product is stable in both compressive and flexural strength. Laboratory test data shows that its compressive strength is not less than 90 MPa, and some product models can reach 120 MPa, while the flexural strength is above 35 MPa. In contrast, the flexural strength of natural agate stone is usually no more than 20 MPa. These mechanical performance parameters show that the stone slab has good structural stability during transportation, installation and long-term use, and is suitable for vertical walls, desktops and other load-bearing or impact-prone parts.

3. High temperature resistance and low thermal expansion rate
The slate material has stable thermal performance, and its thermal expansion coefficient is controlled at ≤3.2×10⁻⁵ /°C, which meets the application specifications of various building decoration materials. Under continuous heating or backlight irradiation conditions, the surface structure of the product will not deform, warp or crack. This feature is particularly suitable for decorative areas that require continuous lighting or are installed near heat sources, such as light box panels, backlight background walls, etc.

4. Environmental protection and non-toxic
This product uses food-grade environmentally friendly resin raw materials, does not contain harmful ingredients such as formaldehyde, benzene, lead, etc., and meets the requirements of RoHS and REACH related environmental certification. According to the third-party test report, the VOC (volatile organic compound) emission is controlled at ≤0.3 mg/m³, which is far lower than the limit set in GB/T 18883 "Indoor Air Quality Standard", and is suitable for indoor places with high environmental protection requirements, such as residences, hospitals, kindergartens and commercial office spaces.
