Stacked Slate Veneer

Stacked slate veneer is a stone-like tile with the intention of mimicking the texture of natural slate. Generally speaking, it measures 3050*1220 - is big, and ultra-thin. Each piece is lightweight enabling easy carrying and installation. The surface consists of a matte finish providing a natural gray-brown color with subtle texture variations and soft shadow effects mimicking the stacked structure of natural slate to create a serene, retro and modern visual impact.

The original texture and color change design makes the product applicable not just for indoor spaces (such as kitchen backboards, bathroom walls, wall accent in living rooms, etc.), but for outdoor environments, like terraces and balconies.

Thermal stability: Even if it is not recommended for use in high-temperature environments, it has good thermal stability and is stable in ordinary everyday use.

1. Installation Steps

Material Preparation: Confirm that all materials (ceramics, adhesives, caulking, etc.) are compatible.
Base Treatment: Check the wall or floor is flat and dry, free of oil.
Dry-Lay Test: Conduct a dry-lay test before installation to ensure the layout and caulking effectiveness.
Tile Setting: Use a special tile adhesive so that each tile is bonded at the time of installation.
Cleaning Treatment: Use the appropriate caulking agents to caulk the joints to ensure beauty and waterproofing.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the surface regularly and maintain it according to your manufacturer's recommendations after installation.

2. Notes

Avoid high-temperature environments: Although the product has a certain level of heat resistance, do not place the installed tiles in a high temperature area (i.e., near stoves).
Avoid mechanical damage: during installation, do not use sharp tools, as they can scratch the surface.
Check regularly: Check regularly to see if the caulking agent is in an ageing state or falling out, in which case repair is timely.
