Advantage
Lightweight structure
2mm Ultra Thin Marble Sheets use fiberglass composite backing technology, and their overall weight is about 70% less than that of traditional marble, significantly reducing transportation and installation costs and improving construction efficiency.
Strong sound absorption
The thin stone and backing material form a composite damping structure. 2mm Ultra Thin Marble Sheets have a certain sound absorption effect on mid- and high-frequency noise in the range of 500Hz–2000Hz, which can reduce noise by 15–18 dB.
Space saving
The ultra-thin thickness of 2mm allows Ultra Thin Marble Sheets to be directly pasted on existing surfaces without removing the original base layer, saving up to 90% of space.

Comparison
| Feature / Aspect | 2mm Ultra Thin Marble Sheets | Solid Marble Slabs |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness | 1~2mm | Typically 20–30mm |
| Weight | Extremely lightweight (approx. 1–1.5 kg/m²) | Very heavy (approx. 50–70 kg/m²) |
| Installation | Easy to install with adhesive, no special tools required | Requires professional equipment and handling |
| Flexibility | Slightly flexible, suitable for curved surfaces | Rigid, not bendable |
| Applications | Walls, ceilings, furniture, curved surfaces | Floors, countertops, structural stonework |
| Material Usage | Uses minimal raw stone, more sustainable | Consumes large volumes of natural stone |
| Transportation Cost | Lower due to reduced weight and volume | High due to size and weight |
| Renovation Suitability | Ideal for overlays on existing surfaces | Often needs full demolition or surface prep |
| Cutting & Customization | Can be cut on-site with simple tools | Needs heavy machinery and wet saws |
| Carbon Footprint | Lower emissions during transport and processing | Higher due to material weight and extraction |
| Cost (Material & Labor) | More affordable overall (especially for export) | Higher cost in material, labor, and shipping |
| Look & Feel | Genuine stone surface with natural texture | Full-body natural stone texture |
Packaging & Shipping
✅ Secure and Export-Ready Packaging
- Each sheet is individually wrapped in foam or protective PE film to prevent surface scratches and edge damage during transit.
- Panels are packed in ISPM 15-certified wooden crates with internal padding to absorb shocks and protect the product.
- Crates are clearly labeled with handling instructions to simplify customs processing and warehouse operations.
✅ Flexible Global Shipping Options
- Available for both FCL and LCL shipments, depending on order size and project requirements.
- We offer competitive shipping rates through reliable logistics partners for both sea and air freight.
- Additional services such as door-to-door delivery, DDP terms, and customs documentation support are also available.
✅Shipping Advantages of Ultra-Thin Design
- With a thickness of only 2mm and a lightweight structure (approx. 1–1.5 kg/m²), more surface area can be shipped per container.
Installation
1. Surface Preparation
Ensure the installation surface is flat, dry, and structurally stable. Remove all dust, debris, or grease-cleaning with acetone or a suitable solvent is recommended. Compatible substrates include plywood, MDF, cement board, drywall, and existing tile.
2. Planning and Sizing
Measure the installation area accurately and plan the layout to minimize waste. Cut the marble sheets to size using a fine-tooth saw or angle grinder. Handle the sheets carefully to avoid damaging the ultra-thin stone layer.
3. Adhesive Application
Apply a high-strength stone adhesive or recommended construction glue. Use a notched trowel to create an even layer of adhesive on either the substrate or the back of the sheet.
4. Positioning and Bonding
Place the sheet onto the surface and press gently but firmly from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles. A rubber roller or firm hand pressure is sufficient for bonding.
5. Final Adjustments
Wipe off any excess adhesive while still wet using a soft cloth. Although sealing is not required, it is recommended in wet areas to protect against moisture and stains.
