Ultra Thin Limestone Panels weigh only 10% of traditional limestone, about 1.5kg/m², a weight reduction of up to 97%. During transportation, up to 40-45kg of load can be saved per square meter, transportation costs can be reduced by up to 80%, and the pressure on the load-bearing structure is significantly reduced.

Strong structural strength
By using a bidirectional glass fiber grid and a polyester resin composite backing, Ultra Thin Limestone Panels have an approximately 3-fold increase in bending strength and an impact resistance of ≥12MPa without changing thickness, and can withstand moderate construction loads and structural deformation.

Fireproof and moisture-proof
Thanks to the low-porosity natural limestone material structure and resin sealing treatment, Ultra Thin Limestone Panels have a water absorption rate of less than 0.5%, effectively preventing moisture infiltration, deformation, and mold; the product fire rating meets the ASTM E84 A standard and is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and other moisture-prone spaces.

Easy maintenance
Since the surface has been treated with resin micro-sealing, Ultra Thin Limestone Panels do not easily accumulate dust and absorb dirt. Daily cleaning only requires wiping with a damp cloth. The maintenance cost is about 40%-60% lower than that of traditional stone, and the service life can reach more than 20 years.

Production Process

1. Quarry Selection and Raw Stone Sourcing

We collaborate with reliable quarries to obtain limestone blocks that offer uniform texture, stable color, and minimal imperfections. Every block is thoroughly inspected to meet our strict material quality requirements.

2. Initial Cutting and Preparation

Large limestone blocks are cut into workable slabs using precision diamond wire saws. This method reduces material waste while maintaining the natural look and structure of the stone.

3. Ultra-Thin Slicing

Advanced slicing techniques are used to cut the stone into thin sheets, typically between 1–3 mm thick. This stage requires high accuracy to balance the stone's integrity with the desired lightweight format.

4. Surface Finishing

Each panel undergoes surface treatment tailored to the application needs. We primarily use a brushed finish to enhance both texture and appearance while improving surface durability.

5. Reinforcement Layer (Optional)

To strengthen the thin stone sheets, we apply supportive backing materials such as fiberglass mesh, resin composite, or aluminum honeycomb, depending on the intended use. These backings improve flexibility, handling, and installation stability.

6. Quality Control and Inspection

Each Ultra Thin Limestone Panel is subject to a complete inspection process, including thickness measurement, surface evaluation, bond strength testing, and dimensional accuracy checks to ensure product reliability.
